30,000 - 40,000 per annum plus commission etc
SALES AREA UK BASED IN LEICESTER occasional overseas travel

This is great opportunity for a highly self-motivated Sales and Business Development Manager with previous experience of winning business from multiple retailers. You will also need the ability to read technical drawings (AutoCAD) and layout plans. If you have at least 5 years experience in the sales of retail store equipment and fixtures and/or point of sale displays this could be the perfect role for you.
You will need to have existing relationship with primary contacts or decision-makers of national retailers and brands with a successful record of winning business. Be confident in meeting or exceeding the sales target for the first year and be capable of handling the overall selling cycle from generating sales lead to the order. You will also be responsible for organising trade shows, conference meetings and PR activities. Developing sales action plans, drafting price schedules and discount rates. Monitor sales performances and deliver business reviews and customer presentations to the directors.

Experience:
Existing relationship with primary contacts or decision-makers of national retailers and brands
Successful record of winning business from multiple retailers and brand
Acted as team leader developing and/or managing a team to achieve a common goal

Highly self-motivated, with a resilient bright personality
Highly customer focused
Good inter-personal and communication skills; Presentation in face-to-face meeting or seminar
Comfortable in a multi-cultured environment
